I like the site, but I only have two comments:

• On the portfolio section, the navigate to Prev/Next buttons on the individual project pages were hard for me to find at first. The height is so minimal that I had to stop and really read what the buttons said to know that that was the navigation.
• On the blog page, my focus keeps jumping from the date icon, to the right categories column, to the the intro image to each post. They all seem to be fighting for my attention and I don't know where to look first.

But I like it - these are just my personal first impressions... :)

Hi guys,

I like your new site, but honestly it doesn't quite "grab me" like I kind of expected --- not like the sites you design for your clients (such as ourselves!) do.

A few constructive comments: On a lot of pages, the type is way too small for optimum viewing on a monitor. While the contrast looks kind of sharp, I'd also eliminate the white type on the black background ---- that is too difficult to read (especially in the smaller type sizes). And I'd switch to a sans serif font like Arial or Helvetica ---- Times New Roman (or anything serif) isn't working here, and also especially in the smaller type.

Ease of navigation seems OK. But on the Portfolio page, when I make a random selection, I see the items you've meant to highlight, but those you don't want to call attention to (per the selection criteria) are still too visible ---- they don't screen back enough. (At least on my screen. That might be just a monitor thing.)

Also, what's the "client login", and do we have one of those??!! :)

Anyhoo, nice job! A few minor tweaks, and it'll be top-notch!

P.S. Love your informative e-newsletters and blogs!

One other thing I forgot to mention the first time. It would be nice if users could up size the text, particularly the white text content in the black boxes on the About pages. It's pretty small an many people will have trouble reading it. In general white-on-black is more difficult to read and serif typefaces are more suitable for print than monitor. Maybe just changing to a non-serif typeface would solve the problem.

I like the stylish simplicity and the ease of navigation. It site contains a lot of information without trying to dish out too much at any single time. I also like how the filter effect on the portfolio. There is one problem thought - some of it (like this page) doesn't render correctly on Firefox / Vista.

Spiffy site design. The google map of your location was a nice touch. I realized why the MG's logo stuck so much in my mind... I drive by it when I leave work. If you ever get client permission I would love to see one of the flash training videos the the portfolio. It seems rare that someone does a good job with those. The stills from the Scion work look good though.
