Web Page Flash Design

Media Genesis is a leading provider of highly engaging and interactive e-learning web courses programmed in Flash, utilizing their expertise in web page flash design.

Media Genesis is a Michigan web site development company that has provided internet, intranet and e-learning design services for a variety of clients for over ten years.

The Media Genesis production process for e-learning course begins with client collaboration on the overall course Look and Feel. Once that has been established, design templates or blueprints of specific scenes are created based on the approved script and Interface Design. The web designers and programmers collaborate to develop a Flash motion sample of text and graphics for client feedback, which involves making 3d animations with flash.

Upon approval of motion sample and templates, the assembly portion of production begins. An HTML programmer builds the course shell that will allow the individual Flash modules to communicate with the client’s Learning Management System (LMS). Meanwhile, designers assemble all the audio/visual and picture assets and perform any necessary editing or retouching. During the programming phase of production, designers place everything into a Flash file and perform basic programming to create each Sharable Content Object (SCO). SCOs with more advanced animations or routines (multiple choice questions, drag and drop, etc.) are then completed by programmers.

Project managers are involved throughout each phase of production to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded and quality assurance procedures are adhered to. Major deliverables including motion sample, templates and the actual course or “build” are posted at a Media Genesis-hosted preview site.

Reviews of the course build are scheduled at the Alpha, Beta and Release Candidate (RC) phases of production. The Alpha review is considered the “rough draft”. Complex programming may not be completed until the Beta Stage. The Release Candidate (RC) is considered final or close to final and is often reviewed in the client’s Learning Management System (LMS) to get a true picture of the left-hand navigation and bookmarking function. Media Genesis works with the specific requirements of the client’s LMS including compliance with SCORM 1.1, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and SCORM 2004+ standards.

The result is a completely interactive, entertaining learning experience. Please click here for more information on the Media Genesis process or web courses related to sales, service, parts or product launches for Arvin Meritor, Chrysler, Mazda, Kia and Scion.
