Drupal Developer

Full-Time Position

Dynamic, expanding web services company seeks individuals with excellent analytical skills to join our web programming team to support the development of web applications for high profile clients, including Detroit automakers.

This is a full time position with benefits. On-the-job training will be provided for qualified applicants. The candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to code using industry standards in an efficient fashion and consistent quality.

Applicants familiar with another CMS will also be considered, but preference will be given to those well-versed in Drupal and WordPress.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or 4+ years industry experience required using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to design for the web
Ability to diagnose and document recommendations for CMS platform and module implementation, customization, and identification
Ability to install, test, and modify Drupal to newer module and core versions
2+ years’ experience and expertise with Drupal and/or WordPress content management systems
Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently
Strong work ethic and excellent problem solving skills are a must
Knowledge and experience planning and creating normalized databases for custom projects
Experience producing high quality software using industry methodologies
Understanding of on-demand applications and surrounding issues
Experience working in a structured programming environment
Ability to convert PSDs to HTML/CSS
Deep knowledge of PHP
Ability to work with MySQL databases required
jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, .NET, WordPress, and additional skills and languages are a plus but not required
