Bateel Gourmet Dates: Video and Social Media

Bateel, located in Birmingham, MI, is an international brand of elegance and quality. A gift from Bateel is a reflection of rich tradition and impeccable taste. They are known for their gourmet dates & chocolates in luxurious packaging, perfect for gifts, holidays, and weddings.

When they wanted to develop special promotional videos to feature their products, they came to Media Genesis to help out. The focus of these videos was to highlight the different types of gift boxes and hampers and promote them through digital marketing.

Luxurious Products, Luxurious Videos

In a market that is so competitive in the digital space, it’s important to stand out with stunning visuals. Since video is the future of digital marketing campaigns, we worked with Bateel USA to promote their gourmet dates and chocolate gift boxes and baskets. Some of these videos were produced right in the retail boutique in downtown Birmingham. The remainder of the videos were produced in our studio where we could capture close up’s and detail shots of the ornate gift boxes and gift sets.

Prior to the shoot, our MG Video Team met with the client to brainstorm video concepts and how they could be used in the digital space. We created a video theme list, organized a shot list, and edited footage together to display the different products Bateel offers.

Once the video assets were produced, we crafted messaging based on the different types of products and edited the videos into social-friendly segments. We then used these as promotional videos on Facebook during the Eid al-Adha holiday season.

Success Measured

With detailed targeting and resonant copy, we reached their target audiences and helped them have a successful season. As a result of our videos and custom copy, we helped Bateel double their traffic month-over-month while we were running promotional campaigns on Facebook.
