Website Design with Media Genesis

Media Genesis and the Cooper Standard Foundation met in late 2018 to discuss ideas for developing a standalone website for the Cooper Standard Foundation. After these initial conversations, Media Genesis and the Cooper Standard Foundation developed a list of goals for the site that included:

  • The ability for users to apply for the Cooper Standard Foundation’s programs online
  • The ability for the administrative staff to approve applications online
  • Provide a platform to advance the causes of the Cooper Standard Foundation
  • Be a custom-designed, responsive, and editable website

Once the goals were outlined, Media Genesis began work by producing functionality documentation that included sitemaps, logic flows, and wireframing, which provided the skeletal components of the new site. These documents allowed the stakeholders to visualize how the final site would operate and identify some potential issues before time was spent on design and development.

After the Cooper Standard Foundation signed off on the functionality documents, the design team at Media Genesis created multiple homepage options. Then, once one was decided upon, we designed interior templates for the upcoming website. The approved designs were used by our development team and built in Drupal 8.

Website Launch

The Cooper Standard Foundation website was launched in May 2019. This responsive website allows the team at the Cooper Standard Foundation to better manage the application process, freeing them to focus on developing initiatives to broaden the reach of the Cooper Standard Foundation.
