West Penn Allegheny Health System: Website Development

West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) is defined by its efforts to improve health in its community. As one of the largest health systems in Western Pennsylvania, West Penn Allegheny Health System needed to serve diverse audiences, so Media Genesis worked with them to create an easy-to-navigate, patient-focused, mobile-friendly website.

The site included a physician portal that allowed doctors to manage patient information and lab tests and a multifaceted, filtered physician search that allowed patients to find the right doctor.

Recognition

The project was launched in September of 2011, and in December of 2012, West Penn Allegheny Health System won silver in the 13th annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards for the Best Doctor Directory at a healthcare system.
