Focus HOPE: Website Redesign

Focus: HOPE is a nationally renowned Detroit non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the racial and economic divide. Over the past 50 years, Focus: HOPE has worked to achieve this mission through its various programs like the Workforce Development & Education program and its Food & Basic Needs program. Focus: HOPE’s rich history and powerful energy continue to make meaningful impacts on local and nationwide communities.

Focus: HOPE came to us seeking a website to meet their needs. They were looking for more clarity and a better way to manage the content of their website. Before coming to Media Genesis, Focus: HOPE’s website had low integration with important features such as social media and e-commerce. Their ultimate goal was to have better control and understanding of their online content.

The process:

• Conducted a detailed intake and analysis of Focus: HOPE’s previous website and audience, then provided our client with in-depth strategies for content and design improvements
• New website features included a division of services within the site to assist people in getting pertinent information, an events calendar, and the integration of e-commerce into a merchant account
• Optimized design for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Integrated social media accounts with the site and prepared a unique SEO plan for Focus: HOPE
