Economic Development Projects | Web Agency in Metro Detroit

In partnership with the United Nations, Media Genesis developed the Business Call to Action website and marketing assets such as the newsletter, tradeshow and print collateral, and digital marketing content. The website provides users with key information about economic development programs.

Media Genesis worked with the Consulate General of Canada to create a platform called Canada Flavors to highlight Canadian industry. This website houses two separate Canadian initiatives: Canada Innovates and Ideally Canadian. The website includes a filtering feature, allowing users to search for specific products.

Detroit Future City (DFC) approached Media Genesis to design the 2019 Detroit Reinvestment Index report. We created custom charts that reflected data provided by the DFC team. Once the report was complete, Media Genesis developed a custom webpage using these visual assets with added interactive functionality.

The Detroit Regional Workforce Fund (DRWF) needed a new, modern website with improved functionality and design. Together, Media Genesis and DRWF created an updated design with fresh colors and new functionality such as a rotating banner to display partners. MG also helped with improve information architecture by rearranging and developing new pages for content.

The International Visitors Council (IVC) of Metropolitan Detroit needed a new website to act as a communication tool for their new “Global Ties Detroit” name. Media Genesis helped IVC transition into new branding by organizing templates and content, updating social media channels, and facilitating the evaluation of various print materials.

Working with the Detroit Mayor, Chief of Staff, and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DECG), Media Genesis developed branding, collateral, and websites for the economic development projects Motor City Match and Motor City Connect. These two projects were widely successful and received national media attention.

The Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) reached out to Media Genesis to create a branded web presence and marketing strategy. Media Genesis designed and created a custom logo and print collateral, including business cards, postcards, brochures, posters, window decals, and more. MG also incorporated custom icons into the site design.
