General Motors and Media Genesis worked together to create the Sales Workbench Web Course. MG helped revise the script, create illustrations and images, record the video, and record voiceovers. On the back-end, MG also helped design and develop the web course itself.
Automotive Manufacturer Kia and Apex partnered with Media Genesis to develop “Maximizing Service Smarts Effectiveness,” a course that teaches Kia dealer staff on knowing their market, how to retain customers longer, and how to increase service retention.
Honda came to Media Genesis for improvements to their on-the-go mobile application used by sales representatives. Media Genesis designed, developed and implemented a new training module called Win-Win Negotiating. Media Genesis developers also ensured that Honda’s application worked properly on both Android and Apple iOS platforms.
Media Genesis partnered with Fiat Chrysler Automotive to design and build more than 100 courses in a variety of languages. These courses outlined platforms including Flash and Articulate Storyline 2. The courses MG developed consistently received high marks from participants with no less than 96% of surveyed responses reporting that the training would improve their job performance.
Dodge came to Media Genesis in need of a bold, interactive web course to introduce the Dodge Avenger to dealership sales consultants. Media Genesis developed a SCORM-compliant course that used interactive learning routines to enhance sales consultants’ selling techniques and understanding of vehicle features. The course included animations, audio, and photography.
Media Genesis built a web course for Dodge introducing the all-new Dodge Journey to their North American and international sales consultants. This 40-minute course contained 20 individual Sharable Content Objects (SCOs). We worked closely with marketing managers to translate the web course into English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Russian.
Jeep needed a course to train dealership sales consultants on the new Jeep Liberty. The course featured interactive learning routines that allowed sales consultants to participate in three-minute drills and selling exercises. The courses also generated online reports that tracked as individuals and dealerships completed training.
Mazda needed a series of courses that explained common technologies across vehicles for operations and sales consultants. These courses needed to highlight key features and service considerations for Mazda vehicles. Media Genesis developed a 20-course library as well as individual courses focused on specific Mazda vehicle features.
General Motors approached Media Genesis to re-engineer the user experience of their internal Learning Management System (LMS). The new LMS needed to work within the existing GM graphical user interface to simplify navigation and update the employee training site. MG designed and developed a platform with HTML that was both function-sensitive and capable of handling language variations. This new platform launched within three months.
Nissan North America needed a web-based training course for the Nissan Leaf and electric vehicle technologies. Media Genesis developed a SCORM-based e-learning course. MG created a template for the menu structure of the course along with complete control over navigation, layout, and styling. The final curriculum was comprised of 8-10 modules, 10-15 screens each, with an average time of 10 minutes per module. Courses were produced in English and Spanish.
Quarterly insight videos were staged, filmed, and edited by the Media Genesis team on behalf of the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA). These videos featured industry guests brought in by SAA and were filmed in a talk-show format. Settings ranged from formal to informal with multiple angles to best capture each conversation.
Media Genesis partnered with Automotive Insight to design and build a new website with custom content that appealed to their primary audience. New homepage and interior page designs were created and implemented. Media Genesis also helped write updated content to better address Automotive Insight’s audiences’ top needs.
Media Genesis designed and built a custom Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) for SMW Automotive. This tool provides inventory standards and monthly inventory reconciliation, as well as manages supplier shipment predictions. The SCMS is fully integrated with customer orders and can track completed parts and inventory.
Empire Electronics and Media Genesis collaborated to design and build a new website that follows current web design best practices, including a responsive theme. Media Genesis selected a WordPress template that best fit Empire Electronics’ needs, allowing for a larger number of high-resolution images and basic admin access for maintenance.
Media Genesis worked with ArvinMeritor on website design and development, intranet development, content creation, and more. In addition, MG worked on custom functionality to build out the interactive Literature on Demand section of the website, allowing users to search for specific warranty and vehicle information.
New websites with updated branding were created for both the Corporate and Franchise arms of the Ziebart corporation. Media Genesis worked closely with Ziebart to design new websites with improved navigation, layout, user flow, and functionality. Custom content blocks were added throughout to prompt user action.
