Media Genesis partnered with the American Society of Employers (ASE) to redesign and develop a new website that would provide the complex functionalities and integrations needed to track customer data coming through a variety of sources, including their content management system, learning management system, and customer relationship management system. Extensive data planning was needed to develop a layout that fully integrated and combined these web tools.
Detroit Future City (DFC) needed interactive data dashboards to feature on their website which would present data and statistics from their published research projects. In total, DFC required 150 unique dashboards, each with their own unique data sets. The data was split into headlining categories, subset indicators, and finally individual charts. The charts themselves were designed with the inclusion of explanatory content that adjusts with each chart, giving the reader context to better understand the data.
Detroit Future City (DFC) approached Media Genesis for a new partnership to design the 2019 Detroit Reinvestment Index report and all associated assets. MG designers created custom graphs and charts that reflected data provided by the DFC team. Once the report was completed, Media Genesis developed a custom webpage using the same designs and visual assets from the report with added interactive digital functionality. We also organized the printing of the final report books to be distributed by DFC.
Partnering with the Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC), Media Genesis helped consult on a tool to help patients locate free and low-cost medical services and physicians in their area. With a pool of 300 practices, MG organized the data to be searchable and filtered by health care category, services provided, and geographic location. Users could input an address to find the closest low-cost medical resources to them.
Media Genesis assisted Lifestyle Matters in organizing an online web store to sell their health and wellness materials. As Lifestyle Matters did not previously have an e-commerce presence, MG assisted in the organization of inventory materials and how to present them in the e-store. Developing an efficient overall store structure made it possible for users to find the product(s) they wanted quickly and easily and improved the overall site experience.
Media Genesis worked with the United Nations on their Business Call to Action (BCtA) program, developing a new website as well as marketing and print collateral to highlight BCtA’s members, partners, and initiatives. MG helped BCtA organize their site content and assets—including photos, videos, web modules, and case studies. To improve usability, the site was designed to automatically populate with related content.
