Working with the Mayor, the Chief of Staff, and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DECG), Media Genesis developed branding, collateral, and websites for the economic development projects Motor City Match and Motor City Connect. These successful projects received national media attention.

Media Genesis worked with the City Manager and staff of Troy, Michigan to evaluate the city’s branding and logo. Media Genesis reviewed branding of other cities and assessed logos and badges used for various organizations (e.g. police). The resulting recommendation was for a full brand and logo redesign.

Media Genesis worked with Troy Public Library to develop a calendar module that could be implemented on the library’s website to keep track of upcoming educational courses for high school students. MG programmed a contact form with database connectivity to keep track of submissions.

MG worked with both the Detroit Housing Commission (DHC) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to architect, design, and develop a website for DHC. Media Genesis developed site maps, flowcharts, and website designs along with adding search functionality and a donation button to the site.

Working with County Commissioners of Pennsylvania, Media Genesis created an extranet in Microsoft SharePoint to allow for the collection and organization of documents, meeting minutes, and other critical information. Microsoft SharePoint was used as a content management system (CMS) to allow for internal users to manage the content.

Media Genesis managed a nine-month long social media advertising campaign focused on driving community awareness and engagement with local Oakland County, Michigan initiatives and programs such as MIArtist, Medical Main Street, Tech 248, Connected Vehicle Task Force, Youth Sports, and more.

In collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service and Greening of Detroit, Media Genesis created an extensive resource for conference proceedings in order to assist in the mitigation of the Emerald Ash Borer in Michigan.

Media Genesis provided hosting, security, and email management for banks under the control of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

In partnership with Global Ties Detroit, International Visitors Leadership Program, and others, Media Genesis produced video interviews of ambassadors and other congressional participants. MG also assisted in print, web, and other marketing efforts to promote citizen diplomacy.

Media Genesis worked with the Consulate General of Canada to create a platform called Canada Flavors to highlight Canadian industry. This website houses two separate Canadian initiatives: Canada Innovates and Ideally Canadian. The website includes a filtering feature, allowing users to search for specific products.

Media Genesis collaborated with the Italian Government and the Italian Trade Commission to digitally represent Italian beauty companies and manufacturers. This resulted in the creation of a comprehensive, image-driven website to communicate the value, range, and educated international audiences on the Italian beauty industry.

Media Genesis worked with the Japanese government to train and educate officials and staff members on social media and its applications to governmental entities. The presentation Media Genesis created shared best practices and examples to be used as reference for future governmental work endeavors.

MG worked with UNESCO in Paris, France to architect and create a comprehensive platform to match NGOs, government entities, faith leaders, educators, media groups, and others. The resulting Power of Peace network was unveiled at the second Congress of the Power of Peace in Bangkok, Thailand.

Media Genesis worked with teams in New York, Turkey, and Japan in order to develop a comprehensive platform to gather economic development endeavors. The program received extensive visibility through its founding members, which included seven governments and active participation by Toni Blair, Bill Gates, and many others.
