Media Genesis partnered with Ziebart International Corporation, a company specializing in vehicle appearance and protection services for over 60 years, to design and rebuild Ziebart’s Retail website. Ziebart’s existing website was on the Sitefinity platform, which the Ziebart team wanted to keep, so MG worked with Ziebart on a new design along with improved functionality.
MG created custom page templates, redesigned customizable store pages for a more user-friendly experience, and incorporated social links and a custom photo gallery section for each store location. In order for a user to locate their nearest Ziebart location, Media Genesis improved the search functionality and made back-end updates for a more seamless experience.
Prior to working with Media Genesis, the Ziebart Franchise was nested within the corporate retail website. The primary challenge was to come up with a solution to separate the Ziebart Franchise subdomain from the Ziebart Retail website while still allowing both sites to exist and be editable within the already-existing Sitefinity account.
The MG development team enabled two different URLs in one instance, so both websites could be controlled and edited using the same account and CMS. The Ziebart team can now make edits to both sites as needed from a single administrator account. This also allows Ziebart to have only one license for the Sitefinity CMS, keeping their annual costs down.
Media Genesis implemented eCommerce functionality on SEE Eyewear’s existing Sitefinity-based website. This project involved the use of the Sitefinity eCommerce platform.
Multiple custom enhancements were required in order to successfully implement the needed eCommerce functionality, such as displaying multiple product views at the product detail level, integration with UPS, a custom order fulfillment page, pop-up marketing tools to capture a user’s email on their first visit, an updated filter and the addition of search capability, the creation of a custom API to export sales data to BLINK, and integration with the SEE retail stores’ Point of Sale system.
Stevens Worldwide Van Lines is a leader in the moving and storage industry, with agents across the country and around the world. Media Genesis worked with Stevens Worldwide to develop a new website leveraging the Sitefinity Content Management System (.NET CMS).
With the changes implemented by MG, admin users from Stevens Worldwide could update website content, preview updated content before publishing, schedule content at specific times, and create different versions for each page. The website also included integration of third-party custom module for an instant shipping cost quote. Media Genesis worked to create a framework for agent microsites with a focus on Search Engine Optimization to drive more traffic.
The Sloan Museum is a public museum located within the Flint Cultural Center. The museum specializes in the local history of Genesee County and the Flint area, particularly in connection with the rise and decline of the local auto industry.
Media Genesis worked closely with the Flint Cultural Center Corporation to create a digital experience (using Sitefinity) that represented Sloan Museum, Longway Planetarium, and the Buick Gallery. The focus of the project was to help bring this beautiful property in Flint, MI to life online. The website provides users with the ability to purchase tickets, engage with digital representations of the many exhibits, and allows educators to book tours for their students.
