The American Association of University Professors (AAUP-AFT) needed an improved website to organize union contracts and communicate with all users. Media Genesis designed, developed, and implemented a new website with a filtering system so users can narrow down the content and access an event calendar and union boards.

Media Genesis performs regular maintenance on the Cranbrook Academy of Art website, including bi-weekly WordPress updates and monthly crawls to detect and correct 404 errors. MG has implemented thousands of SEO alt tags and metadata tags throughout the website. Currently, we’re helping CAA produce more than 10 artist-in-residence interview-style videos.

Cranbrook Schools came to Media Genesis in need of website improvements. MG conducted a baseline website audit, reviewed the server and hosting environment, and looked at the website design. After our initial findings, MG helped Cranbrook with Google and SEO support by setting up Google Search Console, troubleshooting the XML sitemap, tracking organic keyword rankings, and organizing Google My Business.

Olivet reached out to Media Genesis to conduct research, benchmark competitors, learn the recruitment workings of Olivet, and produce a new industry-leading website. MG designed the homepage to be a one-stop-shop where users could schedule a visit, explore campus life, and start their application. Each department got its own landing page with student highlights, professor introductions, and course requirements.

Media Genesis teamed up with the University of Michigan to develop a web presence for the university’s Residential College that would get students engaged, increase brand awareness, and establish a vested interest in the College’s success. Media Genesis organized video shoots, interviewed site users, created a custom content management strategy, and developed a social media plan for the college.

Oakland Schools wanted to optimize their existing digital donations tool in order to sell tickets for upcoming events. Media Genesis created multiple registration forms for users to complete, simplifying the donation process with an easier user interface.

Media Genesis worked with FamilyMint to design and develop an online money management application for children ages 6-15. MG assisted with branding, logo ideation, design, and development of the new FamilyMint website. The application was built using Flex technology.
