HealthPlus of Michigan is a licensed not-for-profit Health Maintenance Organization providing health care coverage to more than 200,000 members. HealthPlus arranges for the delivery of healthcare through a variety of commercial products and government programs.
HeathPlus required a Provider Directory for their website. Media Genesis produced wireframes, designs, and built the directory utilizing .Net programming. Our team created wireframes to establish the layout that would best allow users to search and find information in the fewest number of clicks possible. Design was developed based on HealthPlus’s already-existing corporate branding. All features and functions were then programmed using .Net and implemented by Media Genesis.
The goal of the project with the Detroit Housing Commission (DHC) was to create a revamped website to show public housing properties online. This required improvements in three key areas: design, content, and functionality.
Media Genesis worked with both DHC and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. DHC opted for a custom-built content management system utilizing .Net to integrate with their housing application data. MG developed both an administrative and public-facing website as well as a backend application that clears sessions once the browser closes. This way, information received while a user visited the site is not kept once the site closes; a critical security piece for accessing the site on public computers.
